Hierarchical Segmentation of Biomedical Images using Mathematical Morphology
Abstract:
The thesis studies utilisation of hierarchical structures in the context of biomedical image analysis. It focuses on the selection of suitable structure for image segmentation, and its ability to represent objects in the image. The algorithm for automatical segmentation is developed to operate on selected hierarchical structure and is evaluated over attached dataset.
Abstract:
Práca sa venuje štúdiu hierarchických štruktúr v kontexte biomedicínskeho obrazu. Zameriava sa na vybratie vhodnej štruktúry, ktorá bude použitá pre segmentáciu obrazu a študuje jej shopnosť zachytiť objekty vyskytujúce sa v obraze. Proces automatickej segmentácie je navrhnutý pre vybranú vhodnú hierarchickú štruktúru a vyhodnotený nad priloženými dátami.
