Abstract:
Práca sa zaoberá analýzou slovies shut a close, ktoré sú všeobecné považované za synonymá. Analýza je zameraná na kolokácie, ktoré tieto slovesá tvoria s podstatnými menami. Cieľom práce je zistiť rozdiely v používaní slovies na základe ich kolokačných obmedzení. Výskum je založený na Britskom národnom korpuse.Abstract:
The thesis deals with the analysis of the verbs shut and close which are generally regarded as synonyms. The analysis focuses on the verb-noun collocations of these two verbs. The aim of the thesis is to find out the differences in the usage of the verbs on the basis of their collocational restrictions. The research is based on the British National Corpus.
