Fysiotherapy in patient with spinal cord lesions

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce obsahuje případovou studii, která se zabývá problematikou fyzioterapie u pacienta s míšní lézí. Na praxích jsem se domluvila s pacientkou s danou diagnózou, se kterou jsem nadále spolupracovala. Teoretická část obsahuje stručný popis anatomie páteře, míchy a míšních drah. Dále je zde popsána etiologie míšního poškození a přítomnost kompletní, či inkompletní míšní léze. Hlavním tématem je poté léčba této diagnózy zejména v subakutním a chronickém stádiu. Skládá se ze vstupního kineziologického rozboru, fyzioterapeutických intervencí, výstupního kineziologického rozboru, diskuze a závěru.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis includes a case study that is engaging the issue of physiotherapy in a patient with a spinal lesion. During an internship I reached out to a patient with a given diagnosis, who I continued to work with. The theoretical part contains a brief description of the anatomy of the spine, spinal cord and spinal pathways. It also describes the aetiology of spinal damage and the presence of a complete or incomplete spinal lesion. The main theme then is the treatment of this diagnosis especially in the subacute and chronic stages. It consists of input kinesiological analysis, physiotherapy interventions, output kinesiological analysis, discussion and conclusion.
