Teaching pronunciation using Jazz Chants in English at elementary school
Abstract:
In the thesis Jazz Chants are explored as a tool for teaching pronunciation in English at elementary school. It aims to find out if Jazz Chants can help Czech elementary learners improve their pronunciation, specifically pronunciation of the phoneme /w/. Further the learners´ feeling about Jazz Chants is surveyed.
Abstract:
Diplomová práce zkoumá Jazz Chants jako prostředek k výuce výslovnosti v angličtině na základní škole. Zjišťuje, zdali lze pomocí Jazz Chants dosáhnout toho, aby žáci zlepšili svoji výslovnost, konkrétně výslovnost hlásky /w/. Dále zjišťuje postoj žáků k Jazz Chants.
