Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce zkoumá postoje k ústní korektivní zpětné vazbě v hodinách anglického jazyka. Ke sběru dat byly použity dotazníky pro žáky a jejich učitele doplněné o observace přímo v hodinách. Výzkum proběhl na dvou základních a jedné střední škole. Cílem práce je získat údaje o názorech a preferencích žáků a jejich učitelů ohledně načasování, četnosti a efektivity jednotlivých typů korektivní zpětné vazby. Práce získané údaje dále analyzuje s cílem určit, zda postoje žáků k ústní korektivní zpětné vazbě souvisí s jejich věkem, a do jaké míry, pokud vůbec, se shodují názory žáků a učitelů.

Abstract:

The thesis explores the attitudes toward oral corrective feedback (CF) in English classes. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to students and their English teachers, and by observing lessons at two lower-secondary and one upper-secondary school. The thesis aims to survey the learners’ and teachers’ attitudes toward CF with a focus on its timing, frequency, and efficacy of its types. The data were analyzed to ascertain whether the attitudes of the learners depended on their age, as well as to determine the extent to which the attitudes of the learners and the teachers corresponded.
