Internal and external audit of business corporation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na interní a externí audit v obchodní korporaci. Cílem práce je popsat proces externího auditu v konkrétní obchodní korporaci a navrhnout, jak by mohl vypadat interní audit na základně závěru externího auditu. V úvodu teoretické části práce se definuje, co to je účetní závěrka a jak ona souvisí s auditem. Dále jsou popsány interní a externí audity, jejich shody, rozdíly a význam. Na teoretickou část se navazuje příklad externího auditování obchodní korporaci, SOR Libchavy, s použitím zveřejněné účetní závěrky 2014. V závěru praktické části na základě externího auditu je sestaven návrh interních auditů, které by mohly být prováděny v dané obchodní korporaci.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on internal and external audit in the business corporation. The aim of this work is to describe the process of external audit in a certain company and based on external audit results suggest the internal audit for this company. The theoretical part provides definition of financial statements and their connection with audit. Then internal and external audits are described. The description includes similarities, differences and importance of these audits. The theoretical part is followed by the example of external auditing of certain company, SOR Libchavy, with use of published annual financial report 2014. In the conclusion of the practical part, there is a suggestion of internal audit that could be performed in this company based on external audit results.
