Diplomová práce je zaměřena na popis vysokonapěťových stejnosměrných izolačních systémů. Pro ucelenost tématu je také představen vysokonapěťový stejnosměrný přenos HVDC, od popisu technologie po konkrétní funkční instalace. Další část klade důraz na popis současných elektrických izolací.
