Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu zobrazování afroamerických žen ve dvou současných životopisných filmech, konkrétně ve filmech Skrytá čísla a Harriet. Cílem je analyzovat toto zobrazení v historickém kontextu a na základě příběhů a vzpomínek žen, o nichž tyto filmy pojednávají. This thesis explores the way African American women are depicted in two contemporary biographical movies, namely Hidden Figures and Harriet. The aim is to analyse the portrayal with the help of the historical context and stories and accounts of the women these movies are about.
