Factoring as a modern way to finance a company in a foreign trade

Abstract:

Téma mé diplomové práce je Factoring jako moderní způsob financování podniku v zahraničním obchodě. Factoring reprezentuje krátkodobou metodu financování, která ve zjednodušené formě zajišťuje odkup pohledávek factoringovou společností před dobou jejich splatnosti. Tato metoda přináší uživateli factoringu hlavní výhodu v podobě okamžité dispozice peněžních prostředků, jinak vázaných v pohledávkách. Práce se skládá z celkem pěti kapitol. Úvodní kapitola představuje pozadí zahraničně-obchodních vztahům, význam jednotného vnitřního trhu Evropské unie a jednotlivé metody financování mezinárodního obchodu. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje factoring, který je středobodem celé práce. Další kapitoly umožňují zajímavý náhled na fungování faktoringových trhů a jejich komparaci. Ta se zaměřuje na factoring v České republice a Itálii. Diplomová práce také demonstruje jakým způsobem je factoring používán ve vybraném podniku, jenž právě pomocí metody factoringu zajišťuje efektivní inkaso za svými zahraničními odběrateli.

Abstract:

The theme of my diploma work is Factoring as a modern way to finance a company in a foreign trade. The factoring represents the short-term method of financing which in simplified form involves surrender of the receivables by the factoring company before the term of bill. This type of method brings the main advantage to the client in the form of immediate disposal of moneyed resources, otherwise fixed in the receivables. The work is split onto the five chapters. The first chapter introduces theoretical background of foreign-trade relations, the importance of the internal market of the European union and the particular financial methods of enterprise in the international trade. In the second part characteristics of the factoring, as the core of the work, is discussed. The next chapters show interesting view of the function of factoring markets and its comparison. It concentrates on the examples of factoring in the Czech Republic and Italy. The diploma work shows the analysis how factoring is used in practise on the example of the colaborating company, which by using the factoring method ensures debt collection for its foreign customers.
