The Concept of Intervention and Interpersonal Relationships in Resocialization Institutional Care for Adolescents

Abstract:

Předložená rigorózní práce vznikla na základě výzkumu, který byl realizován v letech 2008 – 2010. Cílem práce jako celku bylo zpracovat teoretické poznatky v oblasti reedukace a resocializace adolescentů v ústavních zařízeních, konkrétně ve výchovných ústavech, případně ve výchovných ústavech a dětských domovech se školou pod jediným vedením. Hlavní záměr projektu byl však výzkumný a kladl si za cíl evaluovat vybrané komponenty sledovaného typu zařízení v České republice a získané poznatky pokud možno zobecnit s cílem přispět k posunu těchto zařízení směrem k jejich větší pedagogické efektivitě. Úvodní kapitola prvního dílu osvětluje hlavní záměry celého projektu a hlavní záměry řešené v oblasti řízení a mezilidských vztahů. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na koncepce reedukace a resocializace v nejširším pojetí. Třetí kapitola řeší problematiku řízení, kultury a klimatu a také personálu v reedukačních zařízeních. Vlastní výzkumný projekt je obsahem čtvré kapitoly. Studie by mohla sloužit jako východisko k výzkumům reedukace dětí a mládeže. Problematika je trvale společensky poddimenzovaná, i když paradoxně ve společenské realitě nabývá reedukace a resocializace stále více na významu.

Abstract:

The presented thesis is based on a research conducted in the years 2008 – 2010. The aim of the study was to compile theoretical knowledge in the area of re-education and re-socialization of adolescents in resocialization institutional care, and also in children´s homes and children´s homes with schools. The main aim of the project was to carry out research into, and evaluate selescted features of the selected types of such institutions in the Czech Republic and, if possible, to generalize the acquired data so as to contribute to a higher educational standard/effectiveness of these institutions. The first part of the study referred to above is devoted to the issue of management and interpersonal relationships among the staff of re-education institutions. The second chapter offers insights into the concepts of re-education in the conditions of institutions for re-education. The third chapter looks into the role of the management, into the culture, the social climate and the staff in institutions for re-education. The fourth chapter describes the corresponding research project. This study could be used as a basis for further research focused on the re-education of children and juveniles. This issue has been permanently neglected in society, although re-education and re-socialization are gaining more and more importance in reality.
