Impacts of the establishment of the Jeseníky National Park on the development of the region

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnocení přínosů a dopadů zřízení Národního parku Jeseníky na rozvoj dotčených obcí a na celý region. V první části práce jsou popsány obecné informace o krajině, obecný přístup ČR k ochraně přírody a krajiny, zvláštní územní ochrana přírody a krajiny, a tedy charakteristika chráněných krajinných území, a především národních parků a jejich specifických náležitostí. Dále jsou zde vymezeny administrativní celky a přírodní charakteristiky oblasti Jeseníků. Je zde také zanalyzovaná charakteristika nynějšího území CHKO Jeseníky, která je nedílnou součástí navrženého plánu území NP Jeseníky. V druhé části je udělaná analýza provedených rozhovorů se zainteresovanými aktéry a vyhodnocení příležitostí pro udržitelný rozvoj regionu.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the benefits and impacts of the establishment of the Jeseníky National Park on the development of the affected municipalities and on the whole region. The first part of the thesis describes general information about the landscape, the general approach of the Czech Republic to nature and landscape protection, special territorial nature and landscape protection, and thus the characteristics of protected landscape areas, and especially national parks and their specific requirements. Furthermore, there are defined administrative units and natural characteristics of the Jeseníky region. There is also an analysed characteristic of the current territory of the Jeseníky Protected Landscape Area, which is an integral part of the proposed plan of the Jeseníky National Park. In the second part, there is an analysis of interviews with stakeholders and an evaluation of opportunities for sustainable development of the region.
