Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá postavou upíra v italské literatuře 19. a 20. století. Úvodní část se zaměřuje na mýtus upíra a jeho folklorní podobu a na vývoj postavy v nejdůležitějších dílech světové literatury.
