Abstract:

Zkoumání prostorových vztahů archeologických komponent ve snaze zachytit sociálně – geografické souvislosti zaniklých společenstev je neodmyslitelnou součástí archeologie. Předkládaná práce si klade za cíl komplexně zdokumentovat mohylová pohřebiště z oblasti Chřibů, Kyjovské pahorkatiny a Ždánického lesa z pohledu nedestruktivní archeologie. Nosnou částí práce je nalezení, geodetické zaměření, zdokumentování aktuálního stavu mohylových pohřebišť sledovaného území a vytvoření nových digitálních plánů každé lokality v prostředí GIS. Následující část práce obsahuje prostorové analýzy sledovaných lokalit a následnou komparaci s lokalitami, které jsou dnes vedeny jako plochá pohřebiště, nicméně se uvažuje nad jejich původním mohylovým charakterem (tzv. nejasné lokality) a dále s plochými pohřebišti, u kterých se mohylový charakter vylučuje. Cílem této části je nalezení společných geomorfologických prvků určujících lokalizaci mohylových a plochých pohřebišť a na tomto základě zhodnotit postavení tzv. nejasných lokalit. Další okruh zájmu spočíval na zhodnocení možností památkové ochrany mohylníků. Cílem této části bylo zhodnocení pozitiv a negativ státní a nestátní památkové ochrany a jejich možná aplikace na sledované mohylníky. Pozornost byla věnována především metodice zaměřování terénních reliktů v lesnatém prostředí pomocí GPS, zkoumání přírodního prostředí (jakožto ohrožení mohylníků ze strany lesního hospodářství, apod.) a praktické užití památkové ochrany.

Abstract:

One of the key concerns of Archaeology is to determine a social-geographical context in which the extinct communities had lived. This thesis aims to provide a complex picture about the tumulus fields from Chřiby region, Kyjovsko hills, and the region of Ždánický les, using non-destructive archaeological methods. The main part of the thesis is focused on revealing current situation regarding tumulus fields in the abovementioned regions, by performing geodetic survey, recording the data, and creating a new digital GIS plan for each site. Later on, spatial analyses of monitored sites are provided and compared with the sites previously evaluated as row grave fields, but which originally might have been mounds (so called ‘ambiguous sites’), and then with the sites which have been surely evaluated as row grave fields (with no possibility of ever being a mound). The reason for this comparison was to detect geomorphologic features determining the location of the tumulus fields and the row grave fields, in order to evaluate the character of the ambiguous sites. Following part of the thesis deals with the burial mounds protection and preservation. The chapter discusses the pros and cons of the state and non-state character of the preservation service, with regards to the mounds described in this thesis. Special attention was paid to the methodology of field surveying in a forested environment (using GPS), to methodology of exploring the natural environment as such (concerning the mound destruction threat by, e.g. forestry), and to the practical application of monument protection and preservation.
