Abstract:
Práce seznamuje čtenáře s některými prvky a aspekty afroamerické kultury. Zachycuje osudy černochů v době, kdy byl jazz utvářen jako nové odvětví hudby. Všechna fakta jsou vnímána pomocí výpovědí muzikantů. Práce je doplněna o texty jazzových písní, které jsou pravdivým odrazem života černochů žijících v Americe.
Abstract:
The thesis makes readers acquainted with certain elements and aspects of African American culture. It depicts fates of black people during the period when jazz as a new music branch was created. All facts are perceived through musicians’ statements. The thesis is supplemented with texts of jazz songs that are truthful sources of the view of African Americans’ lives.
