Tato práce se zabývá právní úpravou obchodní firmy v občanském zákoníku. Pojednává o vymezení pojmu obchodní firma, jejích funkcích a zásadách firemního práva. Dále je v ní věnována pozornost zápisu obchodní firmy do obchodního rejstříku se zaměřením na předběžnou registraci firmy a úlohu notáře. This thesis deals with regulation of Trade name in the New Civil Code. Deals with the definition of a trading company, its functions and principles of corporate law. In addition, it paid attention to the registration of the business name in the commercial register with a focus on pre-registration of the company and the role of notaries.
