Práce studuje pojetí a řízení diplomacie Římské republiky. Charakterizuje vývoj mezinárodního postavení římské říše, soustředí se na její expanzi silou a expanzi pomocí diplomacie. Na příkladech z života G. I. Caesara analyzuje použití soft a hard power ve vnitropolitické činnosti, zahraniční politice a mezinárodních vztazích antického světa. The thesis studies the concept and management of diplomacy in the Republic of Rome. It characterizes the development of the international status of the Roman Empire, focuses on its expansion by force and expansion through diplomacy. On examples from the life of G. I.
