Tato bakalářská práce se nejprve v obecné rovině zaměřuje na vymezení a popis přípravného řízení v rámci celého trestního řízení, policejního orgánu, jeho postavení a úlohu v něm, přičemž blíže se zaměřuje na specifika práce policejního orgánu v přípravném řízení při objasňování případů domácího násilí, které je zde také popsáno v základních rysech.
