Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zmapovat současné poznatky o motivaci k práci ve veřejných službách a vlivu míry a charakteru této motivace na pracovní výkon a další aspekty pracovního života. Teoretické část práce obsahuje poznatky o veřejných službách, motivaci a dosavadním výzkumu v oblasti motivace k práci ve veřejných službách. Na základě poznatků z teoretické části práce je cílem empirické části diplomové práce identifikovat motivy pracovníků vybrané oblasti veřejných služeb k práci v této oblasti. Získané poznatky z literatury a výsledků empirického výzkumu jsou využity k formulování manažersky využitelných doporučení účinných nástrojů a postupů motivace k práci v dané oblasti veřejných služeb.

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is to map present findings about the public service motivation and how the degree and nature of this motivation affects job performance and other aspects of working life. The theoretical part of this thesis contents findings about the public services, motivation and previous research in the field of the public sevice motivation. Based on the findings from the theoretical part is the goal of the empirical part of the thesis to identify the motives of workers in selected area of public services. Findings acquired in the literature and the results of empirical research are used to formulate useful recommendations for managers that are possible to use as effective tools and procedures for motivation to work in the selected area of public services.
