Accounting and tax specifics of trade receivables in the environment of Czech legislation

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována pohledávkám z obchodních vztahů z účetního a daňového hlediska. Zabývá se základním vymezením jednotlivých pojmů, oceněním pohledávek, jejich účtováním, tvorbou opravných položek a odpisů a řízení pohledávek včetně jejich způsobů zajištění i vymáhání. Hlavním cílem celé diplomové práce je popsat účetní a daňové postupy v jednotlivých situacích, které mohou v souvislosti s pohledávkami z obchodních vztahů vznikat.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is dedicated to trade receivables from accounting and tax point of view. It deals with fundamental determination of terms, valuation of receivables, accounting, creation of allowance and depreciation and control of trade receivables including various possibilities of their insurance. The thesis ends with example of accounting and controlling trade receivables in existing company. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to describe and show how to solve fundamental and some more specific situations which can appear in connection with trade receivables.
