Influence of Age Management on Innovation Potential of Company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na samotný koncept Age managementu a také jeho vliv na inovační potenciál zkoumané Instituce. Téma je velice aktuální, neboť ve 4. čtvrtletí roku 2018 dle ČSÚ došlo k výrazným změnám v rámci zaměstnaných osob v různých věkových kategoriích. Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je zjištění, která věková kategorie zaměstnanců má největší vliv na inovační potenciál vybrané Instituce. Důležitou součástí tohoto zjištění jsou polostrukturované rozhovory, které autorka práce vedla se zaměstnanci a managerem Instituce. Ze získaných dat autorka zjistila i vedlejší cíl této diplomové práce: jak zaměstnanci a manager Instituce znají pojem Age management, a jak je tento způsob řízení managerem v Instituci využíván. Na základě zjištění hlavního a vedlejšího cíle jsou v práci zahrnuty návrhy a doporučení pro managera Instituce, které se týkají samotné implementace konceptu Age managementu, vztahu zaměstnanců k Instituci a také inovačního potenciálu Instituce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the very concept of Age Management and also its influence on the innovation potential of the researched Institution. The topic is very topical, because in the 4th quarter of 2018, according to the CZSO, there were significant changes in the number of employed persons in various age categories. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to find out which age category of employees has the greatest influence on the innovation potential of the selected Institution. An important part of this finding are the semi-structured interviews that the author conducted with the staff and the manager of the Institution. From the obtained data, the author also found out a secondary goal of this diploma thesis: how the employees and the manager of the Institution know the term Age management, and how this method of management by the manager is used in the Institution. Based on the main and secondary objectives, the work includes proposals and recommendations for the manager of the Institution, which relate to the implementation of the concept of Age Management, the relationship of employees to the Institution and the innovative potential of the Institution.
