Nukleotidy zastávají v živých organizmech mnoho významných funkcí. Některé jejich deriváty byly studovány v souvislosti s potenciálním antibiotickým účinkem, který závisí od jejich syn-anti konformační rovnováhy. Nucleotides fulfill variety of functions in living organisms. Some of their derivatives were studied in relation to potential antibacterial effect, which was proven to be dependent on their syn-anti conformational equilibrium.
