Diplomová práce se zabývá měřením tvrdosti plastů. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních částí. První část pojednává o přehledu stávajících rešeršních poznatků z oblasti měření tvrdosti plastů. V této části práce je věnován prostor popisu principů a postupů, používaných indentorů, velikostí zkušebních zatížení a vyhodnocení jednotlivých zkušebních metod.
