Abstract:
Celiakální sprue je chronické střevní onemocnění charakterizované trvalou nesnášenlivostí lepku. Lepek je bílkovinný komplex, který je obsažen v obilných zrnech. Jedinou kauzální léčbou je bezlepková dieta, kterou musí pacient dodržovat po celý život. Celiakie se může objevit v jakémkoliv věku. Abstract:
Celiac disease is a chronic intestinal disorder, that is characterized by permanent intolerance to gluten. Gluten is a form of protein found in some grains. The only causal treatment is a strict gluten-free diet, which the patient must lifelong adhere. Celiac disease can develop at any age.
