Analysis of communication situations of adolescent suffering from stuttering

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl analyzovat komunikační situace dospívajícího jedince s balbuties. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoretické a výzkumné. Teoretickou část tvoří dvě kapitoly. První kapitola shrnuje problematiku balbuties. Popisuje ji z hlediska etiologie, symptomatologie, diagnostiky, terapie a prevence. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na popis změn v období dospívání, charakterizuje osobnost balbutika v tomto období a dotýká se oblasti volby studia a povolání osob s balbuties. Výzkumný projekt bakalářské práce je obsažen ve třetí kapitole. Ta obsahuje samotné výzkumné šetření, které je založeno na analýze nestrukturovaného rozhovoru s informantem a dotazníkovém šetření. Dále jsou v kapitole popsány metodologické postupy, charakteristika výzkumného vzorku a místo šetření. V závěru kapitoly jsou shrnuty výsledky výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis aims to analyze the communication situation of adolescent suffering from stuttering. The thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical one and the research one. The theoretical part consists of two chapters. The first chapter summarizes the issue of stuttering. It describes it in terms of etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis, therapy and prevention. The second chapter focuses on the description of changes in adolescence, characterizes the personality of the stutterer in this period and touches the field of study and profession choice of stutterers. The bachelor thesis research project is included in the third chapter. It contains the research itself, which is based on the analysis of the unstructured interview with the informant and questionnaire survey. Furthermore, the methodology procedures, characterization of research sample and the place of investigation are described in the chapter. The conclusion of the chapter summarizes the results of the research.
