Výzkumný záměr této práce spočívá v postihnutí transformace konkrétních zvyků a obyčejů prováděných v rámci hasičské komunity a ve zjištění, do jaké míry ovlivnili dobrovolní hasiči svou kulturní činností život obce Prchalova a jeho obyvatel v časovém rozmezí od založení sboru v roce 1922 až do současné doby.
