Analysis of specific groups of the Czech blog scene

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza vybrané české vlogerské YouTube scény. Jedná se o pět výrazných postav české YouTube scény v kategorii Beauty a Fashion vlogerka nebo též souhrnný název Lifestyle. V této kategorii najdeme YouTuberky vystupující pod svými uměleckými jmény nebo názvy kanálů. Mezi vybrané patří Shopaholic Nicol, Teri Blitzen, dvě sestry z kanálu A Cup of style, Lucie z kanálu Get The Louk a Petra Lo-vely Hair. Pro dosažení cíle jsou v teoretické části popsány základní pojmy a souvislosti, důležité pro pochopení tématu. Data z dotazníkové šetření popisují konzumaci strea-mového obsahu uživateli internetu a jejich povědomí o vlogerech. Praktická část práce se dále zabývá analýzou specifických vlastností vybraných pěti YouTuberek. Analýza se týká vlastností kanálů, vývoje počtu odběratelů, vlastností nejpopulárnějších videí a umístění v soutěži Blogerka roku již zmíněných YouTuberek.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to give an analysis of specific groups of the Czech blog scene. These are the five significant figures of the Czech blog scene in the category of Beauty and Fashion vloger or the overall title -Lifestyle. In this category we can find YouTubers Shopaholic Nicol, Teri Blitzen, two sisters from the channel A Cup of style, Lucie from the channel Get The Louk and Petra Lovely Hair. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts and relation for the understanding of the topic. Data from the questionnaire survey describes the consumption stream of content by internet users and their awareness of the vlogers. The practical part describes basic characteristic of the channels and videos, development of the number of subscribers and the position in the competition Blogger of the year.
