Nursing Care of a Pediatric Patient after Kidney Transplantation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o tématu ošetřovatelské péče o dětského pacienta po transplantaci ledvin. Zaměřuje se na dané onemocnění, ošetřovatelskou péči před a po transplantací ledvin. Poukazuje na specifika v oblasti onemocnění, léčby, transplantace a života po operaci. Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s problematikou týkající se onemocnění ledvin vedoucí k transplantaci u dětského pacienta. Práce se dělí na dvě části. V teoretické části popisujeme vše kolem onemocnění, dialýzy, předoperační přípravy a pooperační péči. Praktická část se zabývá ošetřovatelskou péčí o dětského pacienta po transplantaci ledvin, kde popisujeme kroky, které jsme během péče o pacienta vykonali. Jedná se o popis zdravotního stavu, průběhu hospitalizace až do samotného propuštění pacienta do domácí péče. Informace jsem získala ze zdravotní dokumentace na oddělení Pediatrické kliniky nefrologie se schválením od vedení kliniky. V praktické části jsem stanovila a vypracovala ošetřovatelské diagnózy dle priorit pacientových potřeb a nápomocná mi byla kniha Nanda Internacional Taxonomie II.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with topic of nursing care of a pediatric patient after kidney transplantation. It focuses on the disease, nursing care before and after kidney transplantation. It highlights the specifics of the disease, treatment, transplantation and life after surgery. The aim of my work is to familiarize the reader with the issues related to kidney disease leading to transplantation in pediatric patient. The work is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part we describe everything about the disease, dialysis, preoperative preparation and postoperative care. The practical part deals with the nursing care of a paediatric patient after kidney transplantation, describing the steps we took during patient’s care. I tis a description of the medical condition, the course of hospitalization until the patient ‘s discharge to home care. I obtained the information from the medical records at the Department of Pediatric Nephrology with approval from the clinic management. In the practical part, I established and developed nursing diagnoses accoording to the priorities of the patient’s needs and the book Nanda Internacional Taxonomy II was helpfull.
