Cieľom práce je na základe analýzy zmien v oblasti regulácie a dohľadu v bankovníctve poukázať na nové podmienky podnikania bánk v medzinárodnom kontexte. V prvej kapitole teoreticky vymedzujeme reguláciu a dohľad v bankovom sektore. Definujeme subjekty a vysvetlíme dôvody, prečo regulácia a dohľad existujú.
