Gotthelf's „Money and Spirit“ analysed with its film counterpart
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis focuses on the intermedia-comparative analysis of the book “Money and Spirit” (1843-44) by Jeremias Gotthelf, also known as The Reconciliation, and Schnyders eponymous film version (1964) (seldomly also referred to as Humans from the Mountains).
Abstract:
Diese Bachelorarbeit befasst sich mit der intermedial-komparativen Analyse des Buches „Geld und Geist“ von Jeremias Gotthelf auch unter dem Titel „Die Versöhnung“ bekannt, und Franz Schnyders gleichnamige Verfilmung gedreht 1964 im deutschsprachigen Raum außerhalb der Schweiz unter „Menschen der Berge“ bekannt.
