Proposal for tourist information system in the center of České Budějovice

Abstract:

České Budějovice jsou turistickým centrem Jižních Čech s velkým pohybem turistů zejména v centru města. Stávající informační systém je poplatný době jeho vzniku a v současnosti již není plně vyhovující. Tato práce navrhuje nový systém turistického značení s ohledem na aktuální cíle turistů. Vlastní dopravně turistický navigační systém je doplněn o grafické ztvárnění prvků informačního systému. Celý tento systém je řešen v kontextu systému dopravy ve městě České Budějovice.

Abstract:

České Budějovice is the tourist centre of South Bohemia with a large movement of tourists especially in the city centre. The existing information system is a product of time of its formation, and currently is not fully satisfactory. This paper proposes a new system of tourist signs with regard to current target tourists. The transport and tourist navigation system is complemented by a graphic representation of the elements of the information system. This whole system is solved in the context of the transport system in České Budějovice.
