Structure and development of autochthonous ravine forests in the western Krkonoše Mts.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o struktuře a vývoji autochtonních suťových porostů v západních Krkonoších. Konkrétní měření probíhalo v lokalitě Nad Mýtem. Tato lokalita spadá pod LHC Harrachov a ÚP Harrachov. Celkové pojetí práce je zaměřeno jak na hledisko teoretické, v rámci něhož byl proveden rozbor problematiky struktury a vývoje porostů, tak i na hledisko praktické, které prezentuje konkrétní výsledky a vyhodnocení. Konkrétní biometrická měření všech jedinců stromového patra probíhala na čtyřech trvalých výzkumných plochách (TVP) o velikosti 50 × 50 m (0,25 ha). Pro stanovení struktury stromového patra a vyhodnocení přirozené obnovy byla použita technologie FieldMap. Pro zjištění výčetních tlouštěk byla použita kovová průměrka s přesností 1 mm, výšky jedinců byly měřeny výškoměrem Vertex laser s přesností na 0,1 m. Teoretická vyhodnocení struktury a vývoje autochtonních suťových porostů na vybraných trvalých výzkumných plochách byla zpracována pomocí simulátoru biodynamiky lesa SIBYLA. Pomocí tohoto simulátoru byla provedena predikce vývoje porostů na trvalých výzkumných plochách na dalších 50 let. Z výzkumu vyplývá, že porosty na těchto výzkumných plochách se nacházejí ve stádiu optima.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with structure and development of autochthonous scree forest stand in the western part of Giant Mountains. Specific measurement took place in the lokality Nad Mýtem. This locality belong to LHC Harrachov and ÚP Harrachov. The overall concept of the thesis is focused on two aspects the theoretical and the practical. Within the theoretical aspect have been analyzed issues of structure and development of forest stand. It the framework the practical aspect are presented concrete results and evaluation.Specific biometric measurement of all individuals of tree layer was carried out at four permanent research plots (PRP) with dimensions 50 × 50 m (0.25 ha). For the evaluation of the structure of the tree layer and evaluation of natural regeneration was used technology FieldMap. For determination of diameter breast-height was used metal caliper with an accuracy of 1 mm, height of each individual was measured by laser altimeter Vertex with an accuracy of 0.1 meters.Theoretical evaluation of the structure and development of autochthonous forest stands on selected permanent research plots were processed using a simulator biodynamics of forest SIBYLA. Using this simulator was carried prediction of development forest stands on permanent research plots for the next 50 years. Research indicates that forest stands on these permanent research plots are in the stage of optimum.
