Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá podporou akademické a vědecké činnosti ze strany fakultních knihoven Masarykovy univerzity. Práce rozebírá kontext vědy a výzkumu v České republice. Dále uvádí zahraniční služby akademických knihoven, které vedou k podpoře akademické a vědecké činnosti. Ve výzkumné části diplomové práce je zpracovaná vícepřípadová studie vybraných fakultních knihoven MU. Z výzkumu vyplývají aktuální služby knihoven a jejich pojetí podpory akademické a vědecké činnosti.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the support of academic and scientific activities by the faculty libraries of Masaryk University. The thesis analyses the context of science and research in the Czech Republic. It also presents the foreign services of academic libraries that lead to the support of academic and scientific activities. In the research part of the thesis a multi-case study of selected faculty libraries of MU is presented. The research shows the current services of the libraries and their concept of supporting academic and scientific activities.
