Práce se soustřeďuje na vliv Národního divadla na emancipaci českého národa a dotváření jeho identity. The thesis is focused on the influence of National Theatre on Czech national emancipation and creation of national identity. In the first chapter I analyze general meaning of national theaters in other countries and process of their development. Later I focus on circumstances of the development of Czech National Theatre.
