Evaluation of selected characteristics of apricot varieties in the genofond collection

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnocením vybraných odrůd meruněk na základě jejich fenologický a pomologických znaků. Výzkum probíhal v roce 2017 na vzorcích plodů ze sadů Zahradnické fakulty Mendelovy univerzity v Lednici. Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit vybrané fenofáze, kvalitativní a kvantitativní znaky stromů a plodů u genotypů v kolekci meruněk (jmenovitě odrůdy ʽGoldrich’, ʽHarrow joy’, ʽHarrow star’, ʽNinja’, ʽPinkcot’, ʽSamourai’, ʽVelkopavlovická’ a hybridy H 980–110, H 987–490, H 988–244, H 990–95, H 990–177, H 996–231, H 997–140, H 999–489, LE-11862 a LE-11874) podle klasifikátoru pro druh Prunusu armeniaca L. Literární přehled obsahuje informace o původu a historii meruněk, botanický popis, popis druhu a nastínění různých druhů chorob a škůdců. Výsledné hodnoty jsou zaznamenány v tabulkách a grafech.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis is concerned with the assessment of a variety of selected apricot varietes based on their phenological and pomological features. The research took place in 2017 with the use of fruit samples from the harvest of the orchards of the MENDELU Faculty of Horticulture in Lednice. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate certain phenophases, qualitative and quanitative features of the trees and fruits of genotypes in a collection of apricots (namely the variestes ʽGoldrich’, ʽHarrow joy’, ʽHarrow star’, ʽNinja’, ʽPinkcot’, ʽSamourai’, ʽVelkopavlovická’ and hybrids H 980–110, H 987–490, H 988–244, H 990–95, H 990–177, H 996–231, H 997–140, H 999–489, LE 11862 a LE 11874) according to the classifiers for the species Prunus armeniaca L. The literary survey contains information about the origin and history of the apricot, a botanical desription, a description of the species and an outline of different types of diseases and pests. The final results are recorded in charts and diagrams.
