Comparison of crops recommended for green manure in the conditions of the chosen planting material grower

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo srovnání vybraných rostlin doporučovaných pro zelené hnojení v podmínkách vybraného pěstitele sadebního materiálu. Bakalářská práce začíná souhrnem obecných informací souvisejících s tématem zeleného hnojení. Představeny byly vybrané plodiny. Navazující praktická část práce byla realizována v lesních školkách, kde byly jednotlivé posuzované plodiny vysety a byla zjišťována vzcházivost rostlin. Navazující laboratorní činnosti byly realizovány v součinnosti s vedoucí bakalářské práce a asistentem na půdě Mendelovy univerzity v Brně. Výstupem bylo především zjištění produkce organické hmoty po vysušení pro jednotlivé plodiny, měření délky nadzemní části a kořenového systému plodin. Dále byl realizován rozbor půdy mimo jiné za účelem zjištění obsahu humusu v půdě. Na základě vyhodnocených výsledků bylo doporučeno i nadále pěstovat plodiny zeleného hnojení. Identifikovány byly plodiny, které jsou pro danou lokalitu nejvíce vhodné.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis was the comparison of selected plants recommended for green manure in the conditions of selected planting material grower. The bachelor thesis begins with a summary of general information connected to the topic of green manure. Selected plants were introduced. Subsequent practical part was executed in area of forest nurseries, where the individual assessed plants were sown and the fertility of the plants was determined. Follow-up laboratory tasks were executed in cooperation with a head of the bachelor thesis and with an assistant in area of Mendel University in Brno. The output of laboratory activities was primarily the determination of the production of organic matter after drying for individual plants, the measurement of the length of the above-ground part and the root system of the crops. Furthermore, a soil analysis was carried out, among other things, to determine the content of humus in the soil. Based on the evaluated results, it was recommended to continue growing green manure crops. The crops which are the most suitable for the given location have been identified.
