Valuation of Karlovarské minerální vody, a.s.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je stanovení tržní hodnoty vlastního kapitálu společnosti Karlovarské minerální vody a.s. z veřejně přístupných informací z pohledu nespecifikovaného kupujícího. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí -- teoretické a aplikační. V teoretické části byl přiblížen postup při oceňování podniků od základních pojmů, přes analýzu prostředí, finanční analýzu, finanční plán až po základní přehled oceňovacích metod. Praktická část začíná seznámením s oceňovaným podnikem. Následuje strategická analýza, v níž je analyzován vývoj makroprostředí a mikroprostředí podniku. Finanční analýza pak hodnotí finanční zdraví podniku analýzou absolutních, poměrových a souhrnných ukazatelů. Po analýze finanční zdraví podniku pomocí finanční analýzy je sestaven finanční plán pro plánované období 2010- 2013. V poslední části je podnik oceněn dvoufázovou metodou diskontovaných cash flow ve variantě FCFF a metodou na základě EVA. Pro posouzení dosaženého výsledku je podnik oceněn i metodou účetní hodnoty.

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is to calculate the market value of Karlovarské minerální vody a.s. from publicly available information from the perspective of an unspecified buyer. The thesis is divided into 2 parts- theoretical and practical. There were described the basic steps of the evaluation process and some methods in the theoretic part. The practical part acquaints with valuated company. Then the strategic analysis follows, which consists of analysis of development of macro-environment and micro-environment. Financial analysis rates of performance of the company by using methods of absolute, ratio and global indicators. After analyzing financial health of the company with help of the financial analysis there is financial plan compiled for time period of 2010 - 2013. In the final part the company is avaluated using two - phase discounted cash flow method in the version of FCFF and EVA. For the comparison of the final company's value the third method of valuation is used- book value.
