Josef Kainar - from News Myths to the Great love

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je pojata zejména teoreticky a pojednává o Josefu Kainarovi a jeho dvou básnických sbírkách: Nové Mýty a Veliká láska. Práce má poukazovat na rozdílnou atmosféru mezi těmito sbírkami, na kontrast, který vytváří. V první části práce je pozornost věnována dobové situaci, jež ovlivňovala českou literární scénu v 50. letech 20. století. V druhé části se práce zaměřuje na stručné představení básníka, na básnickou sbírku Nové Mýty a na okolnosti jejího vzniku. Třetí část je především vlastní interpretací díla Veliká láska. Závěrečná část se zabývá různými otázkami, směřujícími především k autorově motivaci, jež stvořila Velikou lásku.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is conceived in theory and deals with Josef Kainar and his two poetry collections: New Myths and the Great Love. The work should point out the different atmosphere between these collections and the contrast they create. In the first part of the thesis, attention is paid to the historic context influencing the Czech literary scene in the 1950s. In the second part, the thesis focuses on the brief introduction of the poet, the poetry collection New Myths and the circumstances of its origin. The third part is mainly my interpretation of the work the Great Love. The final part deals with various questions, focusing primarily on the author's motivation that created the Great Love.
