The bachelor’s thesis deals with the English-Czech translation of the selected chapters from the book "Between Shades of Gray" by Ruta Sepetys. A special focus is placed on translating -ing non-finite clauses frequently occurring in the book. The thesis consists of practical and analytical parts.
