Modelling and dynamic response of kinematically excited mechanical systems

Abstract:

Práce se věnuje problematice modelování a dynamické analýze kinematicky buzených diskrétních mechanických soustav. V teoretické části je odvozen matematický model kmitání diskrétní mechanické soustavy a jsou analyticky popsány metody pro stanovení dynamické odezvy zkoumaných soustav. Základ tvoří metoda spektra odezvy a přímá numerické integrace využívající formulaci modelu ve stavovém prostoru. Dále je proveden rozbor a popis buzení vyvolaného zemětřesením pomocí normativně technické dokumentace (Eurokód 8). Aplikační část práce využívá shrnutých teoretických poznatků pro vyšetření dynamické odezvy konstrukčních soustav panelových domů vyvolané seizmickým buzením. Konkrétně je vyšetřena seismické odezva panelového domu konstrukčního typu PS 69 nacházejícího se v Plzeňském regionu. Výpočtový model byl sestaven v prostředí MATLAB, ve kterém byly zalgoritmizovány a odladěny veškeré odvozené metody. Pro odhad tuhostních parametrů soustavy byl využit software ANSYS a jejich následné přeladění bylo provedeno v prostředí MATLAB.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is concerned with an issue of modelling and dynamic analysis of kinematically excited, discrete mechanical systems. In the theoretical part of the thesis there is derived the mathematical model of vibration of discrete mechanical system and there are described the methods for determination of dynamic response of observed systems analytically. The main part consists of the response spectrum method and of the direct numerical integration, which is defined by a formulation of model in the state-space. Then the analysis and the description of excitation caused by an earthquake are performed by using the normative and technical documentation. The practical part of the thesis utilizes the summarized theoretical knowledge for the examination of dynamic response of structural systems of prefabricated buildings to a seismic excitation. More specifically the seismic response of prefabricated building of structural type PS 69 located in the Pilsen region was examined. The computational model was developed using MATLAB workspace, in which all of the derived methods were algorithmized and debugged. The software ANSYS was used for estimate the parameters of stiffness and their subsequent tuning was performed in MATLAB workspace as well.
