Dried exotic plants and their use in floristic creators

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá významem a použitím sušených exotických rostlin, nebo jejich částí ve floristické tvorbě. V literární části jsou charakterizovány exotické rostliny, jaký mají význam pro FT, historický vývoj, nativní druhy rostlin a areály výskytu. Detailně se zabývá aktuálně dostupným sortimentem zkoumaných rostlin, včetně informací o jejich obchodních a vědeckých názvech, jejich podrobném popisu a způsobu použití ve floristické tvorbě. Dále zkoumá distribuci exotických rostlin, strategii dodavatelů a producentů exotických materiálů. Zaměřuje se na zpracování částí rostlin, proces sklizně, balení, transport a skladování. Detailně popisuje úpravy sušených exotických rostlin jako je sušení, preparování, barvení, skeletování, bělení. V rámci kapitoly materiálů a metod byla vytvořena oborová databáze aktuálně dostupných exotických materiálů používaných ve FT. Databáze obsahuje informace o obchodních názvech, vědeckých názvech, čeledích, původu, dodavatelů, rostlinných části a úprav materiálů. V praktické části závěrečné práce byla vytvořena čtyři floristická aranžmá, která dokládají možnosti použití sušených exotických rostlin ve FT. Se stejným záměrem byla zrealizovaná renovace vitríny v učebnách SK1 budovy skleníku na ZF MENDELU, která bude sloužit při studiu budoucím generacím floristů studijního programu FT.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the importance and use of dried exotic plants, or their parts in floristic creation. The literature section characterizes exotic plants, which are important for FT, historical development, native plant species and areas of occurrence. It deals in detail with the currently available range of researched plants, including information on their trade and scientific names, their detailed description and method of use in floristic creation. It also examines the distribution of exotic plants, the strategy of suppliers and producers of exotic materials. It focuses on the processing of plant parts, the harvesting process, packaging, transport and storage. It describes in detail the modifications of dried exotic plants such as drying, preparation, dyeing, skeletoning, bleaching. Within the chapter of materials and methods, a professional database of currently available exotic materials used in FT was created. The database contains information on trade names, scientific names, families, origins, suppliers, plant parts and modifications of materials. In the practical part of the final work, four floristic arrangements were created, which demonstrate the possibilities of using dried exotic plants in FT. With the same intention, the display case was renovated in the classrooms SK1 of the greenhouse building at ZF MENDELU, which will be used in the study of future generations of florists of the FT study program.
