Analysis of Economic Cooperation between ASEAN and China

Anotácia:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na organizaci ASEAN a její ekonomickou integraci ve světové ekonomice s důrazem na obchodní spolupráci s Čínou. První část vysvětluje regionální ekonomickou integraci, její formy a proces integrace ASEANu. Druhá část se zabývá organizací, jejím vývojem, vnějšími vztahy s ostatními státy a budoucností organizace. Poslední část je zaměřena na obchodní spolupráci s Čínou, kterou analyzuju pomocí indexů: indexu intenzity obchodu, Grubel-Lloyd indexem a indexem komplementarity. Nakonec analyzuju strukturu exportu a importu. Cílem práce je zhodnotit vývoj spolupráce organizace ASEAN s Čínou.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines the organization ASEAN and its economic integration with emphasis on economic cooperation with China and the impact on regional prosperity and stability. This thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part describes regional economic integration and the process of ASEAN integration. Second part focuses on the formation and development of ASEAN, economic cooperation with other three main partners and the future and perspective of the organization. The last part aims to assess bilateral trade between ASEAN and China. This part provides insights analysis of the trade structure and trend pattern using various trade indices: trade intensity index, Grubel-Lloyd index and complementarity index.
