Pros and cons of proton therapy
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na léčebnou metodu nazývanou protonová terapie, jež se využívá k léčbě nádorových onemocnění. Oproti konvenční fotonové radioterapii značně šetří zdravé tkáně, při předání stejné nebo i vyšší dávky cílovému objemu. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is focused on treatment method called proton therapy, which is used to trat cancer. Compared to conventional photon radiotherapy, it significantly spares healthy tissue, with delivering the same or even higher dose to the target volume.
