Security systems and their use in public areas

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou bezpečnostních systémů a možností jejich využití ve veřejných prostorách. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je členěna dle základních druhů bezpečnostních systémů. U každého systému je specifikován soubor technických prostředků, který tvoří podstatu dané technologie, a popsána jeho funkcionalita včetně možnosti využití. Praktická část se soustředí na zjištění, které bezpečnostní systémy se instalují ve veřejných prostorách, jak se liší používané druhy systémů dle charakteru veřejných prostor a prezentuje názor veřejnosti na prospěšnost instalace bezpečnostních systémů. Součástí práce je i nastínění legislativní podpory instalace těchto systémů. Pro lepší názornost, a aby čtenář dokázal lépe řešenou problematiku pochopit, je text práce doplněn o množství obrázků a grafů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with security systems and possibilities of their use in public space. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided according to basic types of security systems. For each system a set of technical means is specified, which forms the basis of the given technology, and its functionality, including the possibility of its usage, is described. The practical part focuses on finding out which security systems are installed in public spaces, how the types of used systems differ according to the nature of public spaces, it and presents public opinion on the benefits of installing security systems. The thesis also includes an outline of a legislative support for the installation of these systems. For better clarity and for the reader´s better understanding, the text of the thesis is supplemented with a number of charts and pictures.
