The issue of reintegration of risk group of people over 50 years on the labour market

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je věnována problematice zaměstnávání osob starších padesáti let, jenž tato skupina osob je obecně chápána jako problematická při umisťování zpět na trh práce. V důsledku stárnutí populace bude míra nezaměstnanosti u této rizikové skupiny osob narůstat, proto je nezbytné se již nyní touto problematikou aktivně zabývat. Cílem je zjistit jak tyto osoby, jakožto uchazeči o zaměstnání, vnímají své postavení na trhu práce. Zda aktivní politika zaměstnanosti je vůči této vybrané skupině uchazečů dostatečná a s jakými možnými problémy se na trhu práce potýká. Teoretická část bude orientována na problematiku zaměstnanosti pro výše zmíněnou věkovou skupinu osob, výskyt věkové diskriminace na trhu práce. Dále se zaměřím na konkrétní důvody nezaměstnanosti u této rizikové skupiny uchazečů, a jak tuto situaci řeší současná státní politika zaměstnanosti. Praktická část bude zaměřena na představení realizovaného výzkumného šetření s využitím individuálních polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výzkumný vzorek budou tvořit klienti starší padesáti let evidováni na ÚP v Litoměřicích. Na základě zjištěných výsledků budou navržena doporučení, která budou směřovat k lepšímu využívání mechanismů podpory vstupu rizikové skupiny osob nad 50 let na trh práce. Zkrácení doby v nezaměstnanosti a zvýšení šance dřívějšího uplatnění na trhu práce.

Abstract:

This thesis is about a problem of employing people older than fifty years old, because this group of people is generally problematic when returning to the labour market. It is also known that population is getting older, for this reason within this group of people the unemployment rate will grow, so it is necessary act now. The goal of this thesis is to find out, how these people perceive their position on the labour market. Also another goal is to find out if active policy of employment is sufficient towards this group with possible issues they solve. Theoretical part is focusing on employment issue for this group of people and age discrimination on the labour market. Next I will be focusing on the specific reasons of unemployment of this group of applicants and how the state policy of employment solve this situation. The practical part will present results from the research survey with the use of individual semistructured interviews. The Research sample is composed of clients older than fifty years old, who are registered at the job centre in Litoměřice. There will be some recommendations based on the results from research survey, which will head to improve the mechanisms of support for people over 50's to enter the job market. Another recommendations are to shorter unemployment time and how to increase a chance in finding job sooner on the labour market.
