Impact of Financial Crisis on Regulation of Banking Sector in EU

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the impact of the financial crisis on banking regulation in the European Union. The ongoing financial crisis in the world has affected the banking sector in all directions, triggering the need to develop new measures in the regulation of banks. The first chapter deals with the banking sector and the financial crisis, its features, development and fundamental characteristic of crises. The second chapter analyzes the impact of the financial crisis on banking regulation, as to the origin of the financial crisis and assessment of the current situation in the world. The last chapter of the thesis is focused on the consequences of the financial crisis on banking regulation in the EU and individual measures of banks, institutions' activities, which play an important role in the activities of banks. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the impact of the financial crisis on the banking sector and an analysis of the banks actions.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca je zameraná na vplyv finančnej krízy na reguláciu bankového sektora v Európskej únii. Pretrvávajúca finančná kríza vo svete ovplyvnila sektor bankovníctva vo všetkých smeroch, čo vyvolalo potrebu vypracovať nové opatrenia v regulácii bánk. Prvá kapitola sa zaoberá bankovým sektorom ako aj finančnou krízou, jej znakmi, vývojom a základnou charakteristikou kríz. Druhá kapitola analyzuje dopady finančnej krízy na reguláciu bankového sektora, jednotlivé príčiny vzniku finančnej krízy a vyhodnotenie súčasnej situácie vo svete. Posledná kapitola diplomovej práce je zameraná na dôsledky finančnej krízy na reguláciu bankového sektora v EÚ a jednotlivé opatrenia bánk, činnosti inštitúcií, ktoré zohrávajú významnú úlohu pri činnosti bánk. Cieľom diplomovej práce je analýza dopadov finančnej krízy na bankový sektor a analýza opatrení bánk.
