Zlomeniny této kosti tvoří 2-3 % všech zlomenin lidského těla a svým vlivem na stereotyp chůze má její nesprávné zhojení negativní vliv na běžnou denní činnost s následnými socioekonomickými důsledky. Abstract:
The calcaneal bone is affected in 2 % of body fractures. Because of its major influence to walking stability with its permanent consequences affecting both daily living and work activities, huge effort is expended to suitable treatment of this fractures.
