Dante Gabriel Rossetti and his Depictions of the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the event of the Annunciation to Virgin Mary, and his depiction in the visual arts, specifically, in the work of Dante Gabriel Rossetti. The work has two lines that combine in painting Ecce Ancilla Domini. Táto práca sa venuje udalosti Zvestovania Panne Márii, a jeho zobrazovaniu vo výtvarnom umení, konkrétne, v tvorbe Dante Gabriela Rossettiho. Práca má dve línie, ktoré sa spoja v diele Ecce Ancilla Domini. Práca porovnáva dielo Ecce Ancilla Domini so rano renesančnými zobrazeniami Zvestovania, van Eyckov Gentský Oltár.
