Student experiments for physics education with mobile phone

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje využití chytrých telefonů a jednoduchých pomůcek pro realizaci žákovských experimentů ve výuce fyziky. Cílem bylo navržení řady žákovských experimentů, které by se mohly stát součástí výkladu na základní či střední škole. Ve třetí až šesté kapitole jsou postupně uvedeny experimenty z oblasti mechaniky. Konkrétně jde o matematické kyvadlo, harmonický oscilátor, měření tíhového zrychlení a rovnoměrně zrychlený pohyb. Poslední kapitola se zabývá experimenty z oblasti fotometrie. Každý experiment zahrnuje teoretický úvod, formulaci úkolu, popis potřebných pomůcek, návod na měření a zpracování výsledků a časovou náročnost. V rámci celé práce využíváme k měření pomocí chytrého telefonu aplikaci Phyphox. Experimentálně naměřené hodnoty korespondují s teoretickými vztahy a práce tak přináší inovativní a praktické metody zapojení moderních technologií do výuky fyziky.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the use of smartphones and simple tools for conducting student experiments in physics education. The aim was to design a series of student experiments that could be integrated into lessons at elementary or high schools. From the third to the sixth chapter, experiments in the field of mechanics are introduced. These include the mathematical pendulum, harmonic oscillator, measurement of gravitational acceleration, and uniformly accelerated motion. The final chapter deals with experiments in photometry. Each experiment includes a theoretical introduction, formulation of the task, description of necessary tools, instructions for measurement and result processing, and time requirements. Throughout the thesis, the Phyphox smartphone application is used for measurements. The experimentally measured values correspond with theoretical relationships, thus the work brings innovative and practical methods of integrating modern technology into physics education.
