Abstract:

Infonomics je ekonomická teorie, která se zabývá monetizací, správou a měřením dat jako aktiva. Mnoho firem si myslí, že data jsou pro společnosti klíčovým aktivem, ale toto aktivum nevyužívají na maximum. Společnost KPMG vyvinula nástroj KPMG Infonomics Engine, který se skládá ze tří komponent - Intelligent Data Discovery, Data Valuation a Quantified Opportunities, který má pomoci společnostem dosáhnout optimálního využití dat, která se v dané společnosti nachází. Cílem mé diplomové práce je simplifikace komponenty business stories library (Quantified Opportunities) díky praktickému využití na projektu. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je popsaná datová strategie, která úzce souvisí s oblastí Infonomics a oblast Infonomics, která je rozdělena na monetizaci dat, správu dat a měření dat jako aktiva. V praktické části je popsán přístup KPMG k oblasti Infonomics společně s vytvořenou aplikací KPMG Infonomics Engine a využití daného nástroje v automobilové společnosti. Následně je popsaná simplifikace komponenty Quantified Opportunities. Kromě popisu aplikace KPMG Infonomics Engine a využití nástroje v automobilové společnosti, jsou zde také uvedeny návrhy pro další rozvoj.

Abstract:

Infonomics is an economic theory that deals with the monetization, management, and measurement of data as assets. Many companies think that data is a key asset for companies, but they do not make the most of this asset. KPMG has developed the KPMG Infonomics Engine, which consists of three components - Intelligent Data Discovery, Data Valuation and Quantified Opportunities - to help companies achieve optimal use of the data that resides within their company. The aim of my diploma thesis is to simplify the business stories library component (Quantified Opportunities) thanks to the practical use on project. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the data strategy, which is closely related to the Infonomics area and the area of Infonomics, which is divided into data monetization, data management and data measurement as assets. The practical part describes KPMG's approach to Infonomics together with the developed KPMG Infonomics Engine application and the use of the tool in the automotive company. In addition to the description of the KPMG Infonomics Engine application and the use of the tool in the automotive company, further development of the application and methodology is also suggested.
