Differences in teaching music education in the 5th grade of primary school in Finland and the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce "Rozdíly ve výuce hudební výchovy v 5. ročníku základní školy ve Finsku a České republice" je zaměřena na rozdíly postupů, metod při nácviků písní ve výuce hudební výchovy. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jaké rozdíly jsou mezi výukou hudební výchovy na školách českých a finských. Jaké metody lze ve výuce využít a s jakými prostory a materiály pracovat pro to, aby se uplatnil nejvšestrannější rozvoj hudebních činností všech žáků. Metodický výzkum obsahoval hodiny náslechové a hodiny vlastní. Z náslechových hodin se utvářely, pomocí metody pozorování, vyučovací hodiny hudební výchovy podle úrovně jednotlivých pátých ročníků. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá finským a českým základním vzděláváním, její organizací jednotné struktury školství, charakteristikou věkové skupiny žáků, pojetím hudební výchovy v Národním a Rámcovým vzdělávacím programu obou zemí, výukou hudební výchovy na 1. st. ZŠ ve Finsku a České republice, metodami využívaných v hudební výchově, jednotlivými složkami hudební výchovy a charakteristikou schopností žáků. Praktická část je zaměřena na výuku hudební výchovy pátých ročníků základních škol, nácvik písní anglických a českých, rytmická cvičení a následný doprovod pro dané písně podle jednotlivých úrovní schopností a dovedností žáků.

Abstract:

The thesis "Differences in teaching music education in the 5th grade of primary school in Finland and the Czech Republic" focuses on the differences in procedures and the methods while practicing songs in music lessons. The aim of this thesis is to determine what the differences are between music in Czech and in Finnish schools. What methods are possible to use in the classroom and what spaces and materials are available to versatile development of musical activities for all learners? Methodological research included the lesson observations and my own lessons. From observing music lessons the data gathered was able to help form new lessons to help the different levels of each student to build their acquired knowledge and skills. The thesis is divided into two parts; theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the Finnish and Czech primary education, the organization of a unified structure for education, characteristic of the age groups of students, the concept of music education at the National Framework and educational programs in both countries,while teaching music in first stage.Addtionaly, the theoretical part includes the methods used in music education, different components of music education and characterication capabilities of pupils in both Finland and the Czech republic Primary School system The practical part is focused on musical education in fifth grade of primary schools, practicing songs in English and in Czech language, rhythmic exercises and subsequent accompaniment for the song by individual abilities and skills of students.
